Think you have it all covered?

Do you think you have it all covered? Probably not. Most people worry more about someone stealing their laptop than they do being sued for their life savings and maybe their future earnings.

This can be covered very easily and at a relatively affordable price. How? Simply purchase an “Umbrella Liability Policy.”

What is it and what does it cover?

An umbrella policy has high limits and sits above and beyond your basic homeowners and automobile liability. The common limit is $1,000,000. Many people need higher limits. Most carriers will offer up to $5,000,000 and some specialty carriers will go to $25,000,000 and higher. Consult with your agent to see what limit is right for you.

Is that it? No. The policy can also be excess over your boat, motorcycle, RV and also have coverage that will fill in where other policies leave off.
